Drummers United got started in March 2007 on the popular Montreal Music Scene Forum (MMS). The event was a good idea and a lot of people seemed interested, as it was building up steam the first couple of monhs. But just as it was started, it was dropped.

Mathieu, Dan and myself thought the event shouldn't be lost, so we took charge of it and had the show on June 3, 2007 at Good Shephard Elementary School in Brossard. The sound wasn't great, but it was free so we decided to have a go at it.

It was a hell of a good show, we had no budget, no outside help from sponsors (at that time), but we had the help of some good and charitable people. We decided we shouldn't let go of this project and we're now building this website to showcase future shows and and related events. Shows, which we hope to have going every 6 monthss.

Drummers-United is just the name of our website, it's not only for drummers. Our future shows will be Drummers United Rock Fest showcasing bands of different genres and musicians of all varieties.

The next show after Drummers United Rock Fest will be a guitar fest showing Quebec's guitar talents.
